This decadent statement necklace takes inspiration from Ancient Grecian and Indian decoration and architecture and features the national Bird of India, the Peacock, which in symbology is associated with good fortune, immortality, royalty and refinement, as well as being a symbol of the heavens and the stars. The Peacock is intricately etched onto the surface of the metal using the original illustration as a starting point.
This decadent statement necklace features two intricately etched peacocks linked together with a little trace chain. The peacocks are three-dimensional mini sculptures that are hollow which have been carefully etched from the original illustration. A double chain sits around the neck for added safety. This necklace has been intricately hand crafted from silver and can be finished with or without an oxidised colour to highlight the etched details on the peacocks. This necklace simply slips over the head, but can be made with a lobster clasp for more ease.
Length of chain: 18 Inches. A Peacock measures 7.5cm high, 3cm wide, 0.8cm deep
Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver with or without an oxidised finish to highlight the etched details.
